Grand Junction at St Mary Magdalene’s have announced a new National Lottery Heritage Funded project: You Are Here.
Over the next three years, Grand Junction will continue to celebrate and share the stories of its 151-year-old Grade I listed Victorian building and the local diverse community through a variety of events, workshops, and digital storytelling.
As part of the You Are Here project, there are currently two exciting opportunities for you to get involved …
Heritage Engagement Volunteers
Join a team of volunteers in researching the history of the building and local areas, exploring exciting new ways they can share it with the public, including through digital innovation and new guided tours.
Artist Facilitator
To run weekly workshops focused on reminiscence-based digital storytelling with local Sudanese communities. Application Deadline: Tuesday 3 December at 12pm.
