Part Time Community Project Worker
The Grand Junction team is looking for a friendly, organised individual who is passionate about working with communities.
A friendly, motivated and committed individual is needed to join the busy team at Grand Junction at St Mary Magdalene’s. A passionate individual with experience working with communities and people to deliver their adult classes (focused on arts and wellbeing) and volunteer programs.
Someone with talent and enthusiasm for working with communities can grow and learn in this role. As a result, training and supervision are provided to assist you in developing within this role. People with relevant skills and qualities gained from work, volunteering, or lived experience, or a combination of all three, are encouraged to apply.
Located in a Grade 1 listed building, Grand Junction offers an abundance of arts, heritage, and wellbeing activities throughout the week. Volunteers support the delivery in a number of ways. Local residents are often the ones volunteering and participating in activities.
This Community Project Worker will support the delivery of the classes, as well as support learners with complex health needs to attend. They will also work with the Heritage, Volunteer and Learning Manager to welcome volunteers and oversee the work they do at Grand Junction.
