Are you Sudanese and want to share your story? Take part in a community story-telling project with others.
Connect with and explore your heritage with this 10-week program. Through digital mediums, you will learn how to create pieces that draw upon the richness of Sudanese culture and experience, as well as create a powerful collection of stories to share. We all have stories to tell, whether they are big or small, joyful or challenging.
Grand Junction wants to create a space where Sudanese voices can be heard, stories can be shared, and experiences can be honored, past and present.
You don’t need any prior art or tech experience – you’ll learn as you go!
Every Tuesday at 13:00-15:00, starting 22 April
Free but registration is required
Are you interested, but not sure? You are invited to a taster session on Tuesday, 18 February, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Grand Junction. There will be an opportunity to learn more about the project and ask any questions you may have!
In-person at Grand Junction, please see below for more information
